Jodhpur handicrafts are a world renowned for wooden furniture, and textile industry. More than 1000 units of handicrafts are there in Jodhpur and large number of artisans, entrepreneurs, manufacturers and exporters are engaged for their livelihood.  The major crafts being practiced in Jodhpur are wood work, mojari, dabu, bhandaj, mother of pearl work, bone work, musical instruments, wrought iron work, panjadhurrie weaving, pattu weaving, terracotta and pottery and utensil making. It has been identified as a “Mega Cluster” under the Comprehensive Handicrafts Cluster Development Scheme of the Office of DC (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, and Government of India.

To emphasise on improving market integration and establishing direct market linkage, the Council is organizing “Retail Fair”  for Jodhpur Mega Cluster under Comprehensive Handicrafts Cluster Development Scheme  during Pashchimi Rajasthan Udyog Evam Hastshilp Utsav 2018, Ravan Ka Chabutra, Jodhpur  from 19-23 January, 2018.
